GPD finds no evidence of foul play or criminal activity in man's death

The Greenfield Police Department is concluding its investigation in the death of a man at his residence on Jefferson Street in Greenfield near Seventh Street.
 According to Greenfield Police Chief Tim Hester, the Paint Creek Joint Fire and Ambulance District received an ambulance call at approximately 3:15 p.m. Monday, and police were dispatched to the scene shortly after.
 Hester said that the Highland County Coroner's Office confirmed the death of a male in his 70s.
 Hester said Tuesday that the "investigation is essentially closed. We found no evidence of foul play or criminal activity."
