The Fairfield Athletic Department will honor former Fairfield Lady Lions Coach Kevin Fouch on Saturday, Jan. 16, when the Fairfield Lady Lions host the Washington C.H. Lady Blue Lions. The time of the game has been changed from noon to 6 p.m., so that more people are able to attend.

Coach Fouch will be honored immediately after the end of the reserve game. The reserve game will be over approximately at 6:30 p.m. (they only play two quarters). According to coach Tom Purtell, Coach Fouch is the longest tenured coach, 16 years (1991-2006) in the history of Lady Lion basketball. He amassed the most wins, most sectional titles, and Lady Lions’ only appearance in a regional tournament game in 1994.

The school would like as many former players and assistant coaches who worked with Coach Fouch to attend the game as possible. They will be admitted free to the game. Any former players or coaches who are able to attend are asked to contact Coach Purtell at: tpurtell@cinci.rr.com.
