GREENFIELD – The 2026 Greenfield Music Festival will take place in downtown Greenfield June 5-7. This annual family-friendly event features performances from local and regional artists on the main festival stage, plus vendors, food and drink, and a variety of games and activities for all ages. Admission is free.
Performance highlights for this year's festival include Angela Perley on Friday, June 5; Doc Robinson on Saturday, June 6; and Dumbfounded on Sunday, June 7. Other festival attractions and events include an antique tractor show, car and bike show, festival parade, kids activities, and a beer garden on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Opening ceremonies begin at 5 p.m. Friday, June 5, with a performance by local talent Olivia Stegbauer. The festival pageant starts at 6 p.m., during which a new queen will be crowned to succeed 2025 Greenfield Music Festival Queen Reagan Johnson. The evening ends with music from Sean Poole & Buckin' Krazy at 7:30 p.m. opening for Friday headliner Angela Perley at 9 p.m.
Nashville recording artist Sean Poole is a traditional country music performer born and raised in Greenfield, Ohio. Sean's passion and talent have earned him features in national magazines as well as multiple awards and nominations. His latest single is "She is Talking with Her Eyes." Ohio native Angela Perley makes music for road trips across the American heartland. Rooted in cosmic alt-country, roadhouse rock & roll, witchy-woman psychedelia, and amplified Americana, it's a vintage sound repackaged for the modern world, glued together by a singer-songwriter who's played everything from dive bars to arenas. Perley has opened for Willie Nelson, Lucinda Williams, Tyler Childers, Caamp, Kaitlin Butts, Eilen Jewell, and Jaime Wyatt. Saturday's activities include a cutest baby contest, kiddie tractor pull, and a power wheels derby. Author Eric Grate will read and sign copies of his latest book, The Notorious Adams Boys, at the offices of Main Street Downtown Greenfield three times during the festival: Saturday 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m. The Rotary Club of Greenfield will hold their 40th annual auction at Hays Court at 1 p.m.
Meanwhile, a full slate of entertainment is planned throughout Saturday, featuring Violet Aquarium at Noon; Steven Dowd at 1 p.m.; Hey Alveh at 3 p.m.; Nick Beekman at Catch 22 at 4 p.m.; and the 7 Mile Bluegrass Band at 6 p.m. The day's final acts are Strangebrew at 7:30 p.m. opening for Saturday headliner Doc Robinson at 9 p.m.

Strangebrew has become a local favorite in Highland, Fayette, Ross, and surrounding counties in the few short years they have been together. With eccentric lyricism, heartbreak harmonies, and dueling lead guitar synergy, Columbus-based indie band Doc Robinson's infectious midwestern gumbo sound defies genre boundaries unlike any other. Tight arrangements and simple, punchy pop hooks have defined the band's rise, building a loyal fanbase and a robust catalog of "backyard BBQ breakup music." Sunday's events feature a cutest baby contest at 10 a.m., a car and bike show on South Washington Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., a cornhole tournament at 1 p.m., and the festival parade along Jefferson Street at 3 p.m. Sunday's main stage entertainment includes a performance by Modern Movement Dance Company at 11 a.m.; Community Worship at 12:30 p.m.; Dusty Barrett at 2 p.m.; and Sunday's main act Dumbfounded at 4 p.m.

The members of Dumbfounded grew up listening to all sorts of music on AM radio, and this variety is reflected in the band's performances, which range from 60's garage rock to 70's classic hits to 80's pop songs, with some country, rhythm and blues, and other genres mixed in. The band has been entertaining crowds throughout Southern Ohio for over 20 years. Members are Ron Coffey on lead guitar, PJ Cunningham on vocals and guitar, Jeff Hudson on drums, Mark Lawson on bass, and George Smith on keyboards and harmonica. Greenfield's annual downtown festival tradition began in 1967 with the first "Greene Countrie Towne Festival." Through the years the festival has gone by other names, including the "Wheels of Progress" festival. In 2023 it was rechristened as the "Greenfield Music Festival" in celebration of the village's rich musical heritage.
