Bright Local coach placed on administrative leave, pending investigation

A coach in the Bright Local School District has been placed on administrative leave, according to BLSD Superintendent Jason Iles.

In a statement to The Highland County Press, Iles said: "Bright Local Schools is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, staff and community. Recently, a coach has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation. This step is part of our standard procedure and allows for a thorough and impartial review.

"We want to assure our community that this process is being handled with care, transparency and respect for all parties involved. Our primary focus remains on providing a positive and supportive environment for our students to thrive. As this is an active situation, we are unable to share further details at this time."
