Breast Cancer awareness tournament Oct. 1 at RFL

On Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Rocky Fork Lake East Shore Ramp, Buckeye Bass Tournaments and Rocky Fork Marine are hosting the second annual bass tournament for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Anglers can register early at Rocky Fork Marine 937-466-2225 or call Buckeye Bass Tournaments at 513-896-4709/513-320-5349.

Flight positions will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Each flight will have eight hours to fish.

“Last year the tournament raised $1,500 for the American Cancer Society. This year we hope to double that number,” said Steve Green, of Buckeye Bass Tournaments.

The tournament features raffle prizes, with a 50-percent payback and 50-percent to charity.

The cost is $50 per boat (two anglers per boat). There will be a "Big Fish Pot" for $10 per boat.
