Bands needed for benefit concert to aid injured local Marine

Ken Yochum of local band Blue Steel is currently organizing a benefit concert to support USMC Corporal Josh Sams and his family.
Local bands interested in performing in the benefit concert are encouraged to contact Yochum, as he said he would like "at least five or six bands" to perform.
"I would like to do an all-day show, if possible," said Yochum, who added that he is a former Marine and veteran of the Vietnam War.
[[In-content Ad]]U.S. Marine Cpl. Josh Sams, 27, of Wilmington lost both legs above the knees after stepping on an IED (improvised explosive device) while on patrol. He is currently being treated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center near Washington D.C., where he has undergone "wound wash" surgeries and other procedures. Cpl. Sams is the son of Barb Regan and Pete Sams, both of Wilmington. His wife, Lindsey, is the daughter of Larry and Marsha Miller of Hillsboro.
