Area nursing facility among top in resident satisfaction

WEST UNION – Adams County Manor (ACM) placed in the top 10 in the 2009 Long-term Care Resident Satisfaction Survey recently released by the Ohio Department of Aging. 

 

Receiving a satisfaction rating of 96.63, well above the state average of 85.85, ACM placed seventh among the 955 participating homes. This distinguishes ACM as the only skilled nursing facility in southern Ohio to rank in the top 10 in resident satisfaction and receive 5-stars from the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services.

 

 “We couldn’t be happier that our residents are saying that we deliver excellent care” said John Houser, President. “And at the end of the day. the people who have made Adams County Manor their home, however long or short their stay, are the opinions that are important.”

 

Adams County Manor is a 74-bed skilled nursing facility that focuses on wound care and rehabilitation located in West Union. Offering a new in-house therapy room, dedicated therapy team and 24-hour nursing care, ACM has worked to help 100-plus residents in 2009 get back homes to their lives' daily activities.
