Arctic chill hits Southern Ohio
|
For all of our friends who are heading south as members of the world-famous Florida Snowbirds Society, all we can say is this: There's no time like the present.
Today's morning temperatures outside Merchants National Bank in uptown Hillsboro read 14 degrees at 8 a.m. The National Weather Service in Wilmington predicts even colder temperatures, with a low around 9 degrees tonight and a wind chill factor of minus 2.
So, to our many good friends who check The Highland County Press Web site each day from sunny Florida, please accept our sincere wishes for a Happy New Year. And please send us some long underwear!
