Rainsboro Elementary was recently the recipient of items to help students, all thanks to the generosity of AmVets Post 61.

The AmVets Sons, Veterans and Ladies Auxiliary donated the needed items to help fill the school’s Tiger Cub Closet — things like clothing items, shoes, backpacks, and school supplies, according to counselor Randa Storer. Things like this are always on hand in case a student or family is in need of them.

The items were presented by AmVets representatives Connie Kneisley and Pam Carter, who are pictured.
