Adena's newest health center opens in Washington C.H.

CHILLICOTHE – The latest in Adena’s network of regional sites, the Adena Health Center - Washington Court House, moved to a new location today, Nov. 1.
The new site also consolidates services that have been offered in the past by Adena, providing more convenient access for patients in that community and communities nearby.
“We want to offer exceptional care right here in Washington Court House and in surrounding communities,” said Practice Manager Brooke Myers.
In addition to Dr. Michael Beyer and Dr. Jessica Powell proving Family Medicine services, the new center will be home to specialists in Cardiology, Gynecology, Nephrology, Obstetrics, Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
Along with those specialties, laboratory and X-ray services will be offered. Another specialty new to the health center, neurology will be available later in the month. Additionally, ENT services are planned to be available in the future.
Fayette County patients will also have access to a walk-in clinic in the city’s Walmart, beginning on Jan. 30.
This clinic is another way to introduce Adena’s high quality of care into the Washington Court House community, said Myers. Patients will be given the convenience of after-hours care in the retail world, with no appointments necessary.
“The walk-in clinics will allow highly trained Nurse Practitioners to make appropriate referrals to the Washington Court House Health Center as necessary,” said Myers.
A grand opening celebration at the new health center is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12. Those planning to attend should RSVP by calling 855-232-9274.
