Adena Health celebrates 130th anniversary; seeks community input on local health care

Adena Health is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year – an especially meaningful milestone in today’s rural health-care landscape.

As hospitals across the country face closures and service reductions, Adena has remained strong, growing from a one-room facility in 1895 to a regional health system serving more than 400,000 residents across nine counties in southern Ohio.

To continue that growth, Adena needs to hear from local residents now. Every three years, Adena Health partners with local organizations to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment to better understand the challenges and priorities facing our communities.

Residents in Highland County who provide feedback can play a key role in shaping programs, services and partnerships that support better health, right here at home.

Results from the assessment will help Adena continue to provide high-quality care for local residents. More information is available at https://www.adena.org/CHNA.
