Lynchburg-Clay 3rd, Fairfield 6th in SHAC girls golf tourney

The Southern Hills Athletic Conference concluded its two-day girls golf tournament with Manchester winning the event with a team score of 385.

Manchester's Taylor Ralston was also the individual winner, as she had a low score of 74 (37 on each day). This is her fourth SHAC championship.

Highland County’s teams included Lynchburg-Clay earning third place (425) and Fairfield finishing sixth (492).

Other team results included West Union in second (391), North Adams in fourth (435), Peebles in fifth (482) and Eastern in seventh (548). Ripley did not compile a team score.

Earning All-SHAC honors for Highland County were two Lynchburg-Clay golfers, including Autumn Wilkin, who shot a 50 on Day 1 and a 53 on Day 2 for a total score of 103 and seventh place overall. Also for LC, Alexis Knisley was named All-SHAC after tying for 10th place overall with a score of 106 (52, 54).
