The 19th annual chili supper and dessert auction, benefiting the Highland County Society for Children and Adults, will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 18 at Hillsboro VFW Post 9094, 1000 West Main Street in Hillsboro.
Monday night saw the end of the 2024-25 season for the Hillsboro Indians. HHS faced No. 1 seeded Meigs, and the top-seeded Marauders defeated the Indians 72-56 in the Division IV SE District Semifinals at Southeastern High School.
Fending off a tough No. 5 seeded Warren Lady Warriors team, the No. 4 seeded Hillsboro Lady Indians were clutch when needed in the final quarter of the Division IV SE District Quarterfinals, winning by a 59-55 score Saturday at HHS.
The Hillsboro Indians boys and girls bowling teams recently won their respective Frontier Athletic Conference championships at Highland Lanes on Saturday, Feb. 8.
Though the Hillsboro Indians held a one-point lead at halftime, and trailed by just two points after three quarters, the Chillicothe Cavaliers were a little too strong for the host Indians on Wednesday night, as they defeated the Indians 57-54.
