Mike Carey (R-Ohio-15), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, and U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) have reintroduced the Pay Less at the Pump Act, legislation that will boost domestic energy production, reduce reliance on foreign energy, and lower costs for American workers by eliminating the IRS Superfund Tax.

You love God better through the sacrifices you make and sufferings you endure for another. Mildred would sometimes surprise me by cooking my favorite dish – Beefaroni. She called it "goulash." I hope it's on the menu at God's Heavenly Banquet.

Jesus will ask you this question at your judgment. "What have you done to show my love?" Prepare now to give Jesus a good answer.

The story of Epiphany is God revealing the divinity of Jesus to the three wise men who brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. There is a joke about a fourth wise man who was turned away for bringing a fruitcake. Pardon the levity, but I ask a serious question. What is the best gift you could bring Jesus? 

It was 1969, and our soldiers were fighting in Vietnam. A high-priority message was received by one of our ham operators to be delivered to a family living in Herman, Pennsylvania. That was the exact place where I lived at St. Fidelis. With pen and paper in hand, I told the operator to send it.

Christmas is the story of Heaven coming to earth. Heaven is a place where Peace, Joy, Life and Love never end. Heaven is a place where God accepts anyone who sincerely seek Him from their hearts. 

Jesus dedicated His life to carry you through anything that hurts you. Dedicate your life to Jesus by helping another who hurts.

Jesus is saying "Instead of offering sacrifices to me, I want you to be merciful to others. I didn't come to invite good people to be my followers. I came to invite sinners." I love this Bible verse so much I want it to be etched on my tombstone.

I witnessed a miracle in the midst of a flood. I was visiting my friend Bob whose house was built very close to the old S.R. 32 road. The road is several feet higher than his front door.

The story of the Good Thief amazes me. It amazes me he had faith in Jesus though he never saw Jesus work healing miracles or raise Lazarus from the dead or teach how God forgives sinners. 

I am comforted by this Bible passage in difficult times: "By your perseverance, you will secure your lives." (Luke 21:19.)  Another translation is, "You will be saved by being faithful to me (Jesus)." 

The Feast of Passover was the most sacred way the Jewish people worshipped God. It celebrated the end of their slavery in Egypt to freedom in the Promised Land.
