It is foolish to think I am in charge of me own life. I make God laugh every time I tell him my plans. 

A combination of excessive spending, skyrocketing inflation, rising interest rates, mismanaged interest rate risk, failed supervision and management, and a social media-fueled bank run led to recent bank failures. As Congress and regulators analyze what went wrong, one thing is clear: S. 2155’s targeted reforms did not contribute to bank failures.

I will continue to work for U.S. producers and others as Farm Bill reauthorization discussions take shape. I encourage those interested in these issues to contact me with your views as Congress begins the process of writing the next Farm Bill.
