Unable to stop the Washington Blue Lions in the second half, the Hillsboro Indians' season came to an end Saturday night at Southeastern High School as they dropped their Division II SE District Sectional game to the Blue Lions 58-41.

The McClain girls basketball Division II SE District Championship game against Miami Trace has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 6 at 5 p.m. at the Convocation Center in Athens, on the campus of Ohio University.

After defeating the West Union Dragons twice during the regular season, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs were unable to perform the feat a third time Tuesday night in Division III SE District Sectional play, as the Dragons were competitive from beyond the arc and from the free-throw line, with the Mustangs falling 77-64 at Waverly High School.

The third time was the charm for the Fairfield Lions Tuesday evening at Valley High School as they took advantage of the foul trouble of rival Whiteoak, battling tooth-and-nail with the Wildcats, with the Lions gaining a 49-44 victory, earning them a trip to the Division IV SE District Sectional Final.
