The Lynchburg-Clay boys basketball team ended their season this week with two make up game to wrap up the regular season as they fell in the postseason tournament in the opening round.

The Southern Hills League Junior High Boys Basketball SHL regular season co-champions and SHL tournament champions were the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs with an 8-1 record.

Getting to Ohio High School Athletic Association State Wrestling Tournaments was redemption for McClain's Caleb Cooper for a couple reasons. One was he overcame a tough opponent for the first time, and secondly, Cooper almost didn't have the opportunity to get to this point as MHS almost ceased their wrestling program a few years back.

Hillsboro senior Andrew Goolsby accomplished his goal of having the opportunity to wrestle in the Ohio High School Athletic Association State Wrestling tournaments this week, but getting there took lots of hard work and dedication of perfecting his craft on the mat.

An instructional volleyball camp will be held for boys and girls in grades 4-6 March 23-25 at Bright Elementary from 3-5 p.m. The cost is $30 per student.
