The McClain Lady Tigers kept their undefeated record intact Saturday night with a big scoring second half and pressure on the defensive side as they grounded the Madison-Plains Lady Golden Eagles 62-24 in South Central Ohio League play.

The Hillsboro Lady Indians dropped their South Central Ohio League contest Saturday night, as they were defeated by the Washington Lady Blue Lions 56-29 at Hillsboro High School.

The 1965-66 SCOL basketball season opened in mid-November with non-league competition.  Last season’s league basketball champions, the Circleville Tigers, began the season with a new head coach, Chuck Hill. Hill was formerly on the coaching staff at Mt. Vernon.
