The Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Sunday, July 17 in Clinton County. Debra O'Connell, 56, of Lexington, Ky., was pronounced dead by Clinton County Coroner Gary Garrison, after the 2005 Dodge Caravan she was driving crashed on I-71 Sunday afternoon.

Greenfield residents may not have to vote in all new village officials, according to a new opinion from Greenfield Law Director Brian Zets. The trial of a Hillsboro man facing attempted murder charges has been continued following an unexpected death in the family of his attorney.
 The case has been continued to Aug. 31, according to the court.

A Hillsboro man was sentenced to four years in prison Wednesday after pleading guilty to charges that he assaulted a New Vienna man in front of three young juveniles, leaving the man with serious injuries.
