Steagall gains 64 yards against Anderson

Former Hillsboro standout and current Bluffton University freshman Airic Steagall played his best game to date at the collegiate level this past Saturday for the Beavers.

During an away game at Anderson, Ind., Steagall had 16 carries for 64 net rushing yards for 4 yards per carry. The yards gained were the second most on the team, as the Beavers fell to Anderson 28-28 on Oct. 16.

In four games played this season, Steagall has 20 rushes, with his longest run being 13 yards (against Anderson).

He also has one reception for eight yards.

Bluffton is 3-4 overall, 2-3 in the HCAC (Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference) in Division III.

At Hillsboro Steagall ('10) played football, baseball and basketball. He is majoring in sports management at Bluffton University.
