Hillsboro girls golf defeats Miami Trace and Clinton-Massie in SCOL matches

The Hillsboro Lady Indians golf team recently won two South Central Ohio League matches on the road, defeating the Miami Trace Lady Panthers and Clinton-Massie Lady Falcons.
On Aug. 23, at the Washington C.H Country Club, HHS took down MT, 200-298.
Haylee Wehrung led Hillsboro with a low score of 47. She was followed in the standings by Haleigh Lovett at 50 and teammate Carey Juillerat shot a 51.
Other HHS scores included: Arden Knauff, 52; Abby Cornelli, 54 and Halee Allen, 54.
The following day on Aug. 24 HHS defeated the CM Lady Falcons by a score of 197-201 at the Wilmington Elks.
Carey Juillerat led the Lady Indians with a low score of 45, followed with 50's by Haylee Wehrung and Abby Cornell.
Haeligh Lovett shot a 52, and she was followed by Halee Allen at 54 and
Arden Knauff with a score of 56.
"The girls played very well both days. I am very impressed with Halee Allen, a freshman, she has improved her scores and has really become competitive," HHS coach Susan Hunter said. "Carey Juillerat really stepped up at Clinton-Massie with a great score that helped us come up with the winning score."[[In-content Ad]]
