Highland District Hospital Foundation announces successful gala, raising over $100,000 to support patient care
The Highland District Hospital Foundation proudly announces the success of its annual Foundation Gala, held on Saturday, Nov. 8 at The Hillsboro Orpheum where community members, healthcare providers, partners, and supporters came together to raise vital funds to support the Foundation’s important initiatives.
This year’s event welcomed more than 200 guests who enjoyed an elegant evening featuring a social hour, dinner, live auction, and inspiring remarks from Tim Parry, President & CEO.
Thanks to the generosity of attendees, sponsors and donors, the event raised over $100,000, directly benefiting the Foundation’s mission to advance compassionate, high-quality healthcare in the community.
Erin Richmond, Foundation Manager, expressed deep appreciation for the outpouring of support, "The generosity shown tonight is truly inspiring. Our community continues to step forward in meaningful ways, and their support allows us to provide the exceptional care our patients deserve. This evening is a reminder of the incredible impact philanthropy has on every life touched by our hospital."
The night concluded with the announcement of winners from the silent auction, live auction, split the pot, first chance, as well as the winner of the vacation experience raffle, which was Bill Hilterbran.
Thanks to a generous matching donation of $10,000, the event concluded with an impromptu call to action that raised an additional $20,000.
