Three arrested during search of Hillsboro home

On Saturday, July 7, officers of the Hillsboro Police Department assisted by the Highland County Sheriff's office were at the residence of Kenneth Price Jr. on North West Street in Hillsboro, investigating illegal drug activity. The Police Department obtained a search warrant for the residence.
Upon issuing the warrant, three people were found hiding behind a locked door inside the residence. Two of them had warrants for their arrest.

Jacob T. Yost, 23, of Hillsboro was arrested for warrants out of Warren County for felony illegal assembly and for failing to comply with Warren County pretrial services. Karie C. Price, 22, of Hillsboro was arrested on a bench warrant out of Highland County. Several items related to illegal drug activity were collected as evidence. Kenneth A. Price, Jr., 23, of Hillsboro was arrested for felony obstructing justice.
The case will be presented to the Highland County Prosecutor's Office for review and possible further charges.
