Springfield Post investigates single-vehicle injury crash
The Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle injury crash. The crash occurred Monday, May 20 at 3:22 p.m., on Newlove Rd. south of US 40 in Harmony Township, Clark County.
The preliminary investigation revealed a 2014 Ford Focus, operated by Shane C. Miller, 54, of London, was traveling north on Newlove Rd. The Ford drove off the right side of the roadway, struck a utility pole, a stump and a tree.
Miller was transported from the scene and flown to Miami Valley Hospital by Care Flight.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Springfield Twp. EMS, Care Flight and Shield Towing.
