Single-car crash under investigation

At approximately 10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, a single-vehicle accident occurred in the 10000 block of S.R. 138 near Rattlesnake Creek in Greenfield.

The vehicle crossed the center line, veering off the roadway and striking a stone driveway culvert. Both airbags were deployed.

Miami Valley CareFlight was put on standby but was not called to the scene.

Responding to the scene were Paint Creek Fire/EMS, Highland County sheriff's deputies and two Greenfield Police cruisers. The Highland County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

The driver was transported by Paint Creek EMS to Greenfield/Adena Medical Center for treatment.
