Shanaberger named manager of medical/surgical care at CMH

WILMINGTON - Mary Shanaberger, registered nurse, is the new manager of Medical/Surgical Care at Clinton Memorial Hospital. She will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Medical/Surgical Care including the delivery of patient care.

Shanaberger, who resides in Westboro, has worked at Clinton Memorial Hospital since 1997 and in Same Day Care since 2000. In 2007 she received official designation as a certified gastroenterology registered nurse.
In 2009 she was honored at the annual CMH nurses banquet for achieving Clinical Ladder Level 2 which is an evaluation and advancement system that offers registered nurses opportunities for clinical advancement, development of leadership capabilities, continuing education and a financial reward for demonstrated ability.
Shanaberger completed her LPN degree in 1985 and her RN degree in 1997, both at Southern State Community College in Hillsboro. She is member of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses.
