State Representative David T. Daniels (R-Greenfield) was pleased to accept the "Watchdog of the Treasury" award from the United Conservatives of Ohio. The award is presented to public officials who demonstrate a commitment to limited government, lower taxes, regulatory relief, and individual liberty. This is the fourth such time Rep. Daniels has been honored by the group. He received the same award for the 125th, 126th, 127th and now 128th General Assemblies.

"I was honored and humbled to be awarded the watchdog of the treasury by such a prestigious organization," said Rep. Daniels. "I look forward to any opportunity to uphold the values of limited government, while protecting the taxpayers' money from a bloated government. I remain committed to making sure that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely."

The United Conservatives of Ohio supports responsible spending of the taxpayers' dollars, the elimination of government waste, and free-market economics.
