Ohio State offers free health screenings, information and fun at annual Healthy Community Day
Community members can begin the summer on a healthy note at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s 26th annual Healthy Community Day.
Healthy Community Day will be held Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. – noon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Outpatient Care East, 543 Taylor Ave., Columbus.
Healthy Community Day is a free annual health fair focused on providing education to improve your health and well-being. Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and local non-profit organizations will offer wellness information and resources. There will be free produce and refreshments, family-friendly activities and giveaways.
Free health screenings and consultations will be provided by experts from Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, including:
• Cancer
• Fitness/balance
• Height, weight and body mass index
• Sports physicals
• Stroke
• Vision.
On-site registration is required for the free screenings. Screening sign-ups close at 11 a.m.
