New Life Church to distribute 60,000 pounds of food Aug. 25

New Life Church and Ministries will continue the fight against hunger at Liberty Park on Aug. 25 at 4:30 p.m.

Over 60,000 pounds of food will be given away to the hungry and needy. There is no charge for the food; however, all must attend the special music program presented by The Bowmans to get a ticket for the food.

The event will be the ministry's largest one-day food distribution of the year.

A press release for the event states, "Hundreds of families will go home with more food than they can carry, and more importantly, the loving reassurance you can only find in Jesus Christ."

New Life Church and Ministries is located at 6101 state Route 247, Hillsboro, and may be reached at (937) 393-2429.

Liberty Park is located on Diamond Drive, just past Southern State Community College on Route 62 north.
