On Oct. 30, 2009, officers attempted to arrest a female on John Street. A male subject, Jeffery Willey of John Street, was arrested for obstructing official business. The female, Malinda Taylor of John Street, fell from a second story window and was taken to Highland District Hospital. She was cited for obstructing official business. She was also arrested for a warrant from Highland Co. Sheriff's Office.

Zachary Myers, Erlanger, Kentucky, for two warrants from Highland County Sheriff's Office
Chad Click, Wilmington, Ohio, warrant for failure to appear
Cathy Stevens, Hillsboro, for failure to yield
Jan Birchfield, Mt. Orab, Ohio, for failure to file for registration
Jeffery Bell, Washington CH, for complicity warrant
Brian Gillman, Hillsboro, for warrant from the Highland Co. Sheriff's Office
Sarah McKenzie, Hillsboro, failure to yield at a stop sign
On October 31, 2009, Ellen Butcher of Hillsboro, driving a 2001 GEO, was traveling westbound on West Main Street in the area of Lanewood Drive when a deer ran into the path of her vehicle, causing her to strike the deer.
Arrest:
Willie Musser, West Union, Ohio, arrested for DUI, DWI, driving under suspension, and warrant.
On Oct. 31, 2009, officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of West Pleasant Street. Upon investigation, it was found a male subject had been assaulted, and this report is still under investigation pending arrest of two male subjects.
On Oct. 31, 2009, Bill Faul, 700 Elm Street, reported his sod had been damaged. Daniel Davenport, Lynchburg, driving a 2004 Chevrolet, advised he was turning around and got stuck in the sod doing the damage.
On Oct. 31, 2009, William Anderson of Winchester, Ohio, driving a 2005 Ford, was backing from a parking space at Town and Country and struck a 1999 Chevrolet that was owned by Wesley Fetters of Leesburg, Ohio.
On Nov. 1, 2009, Steven Setty of Lynchburg, Ohio, driving a 2001 Dodge, was traveling south on SR 73 when a deer ran into the roadway, causing Setty to strike the deer.
On Nov. 1, 2009, Richard Phillips advised a male subject was driving recklessly in the parking lot at the Old Depot, North West Street, and struck his 2006 Hyundai, causing his vehicle to strike a 2002 Mercury owned by Joey Brewer of Hillsboro. The driver left the scene of the accident. This is still under investigation.
