Hillsboro Police Report

On June 28, the Hillsboro Police Department received a call at approximately 1:38 p.m. about a crash at West Main Street, Speedway. Upon arrival, it was found that Victoria Ann Hartley, Hillsboro, driving a 1991 Nissan, was turning out of the parking lot onto West Main Street. Penny A. Fancher of Hillsboro was traveling eastbound on West Main and turned into Speedway, striking Hartley's vehicle. Hartley left the scene of the accident. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained nonfunctional damage.

On July 3, the Hillsboro Police Department received a call at approximately 2:36 p.m. of a collision in the 100 block of West North Street. Upon arrival, it was found that Kelley J. Keeton of Greenfield, driving a 2010 Toyota, traveling west, met an oncoming vehicle, moved to the right on the street and failed to judge her distance. Keeton struck a parked 2009 Chrysler owned by Phyllis A. Abbott of Hillsboro. No injuries were reported. Keeton's vehicle received nonfunctional damage, while Abbott's vehicle received functional damage.
