Highland County Deerhunters chapter of Whitetails Unlimited host annual Youth Hunter Appreciation Day at Holtfield Station

The Highland County Deerhunters chapter of Whitetails Unlimited hosted the fourth annual Youth Hunter Appreciation Day at Holtfield Station on Nov. 18.

The young hunters enjoyed free lunch, archery, BB gun shooting, a big buck contest, field dressing demonstration and the grand prize drawing.

Approximately 80 young hunters attended the event, and 21 registered deer.
