Greenfield Village Council to hold special meeting May 13

A special meeting of Greenfield Village Council has been set for May 13 at 4:45 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, third floor of city hall, 300 Jefferson Street, Greenfield.

The meeting agenda will include setting a special election date, based on the certification from the Board of Elections, as well as discussing the Finance Committee Report (5/13/24), the creation of a Human Resources (HR) Committee and to consider the following legislation: 

• Second Reading of Resolution No. 16-2024: A resolution authorizing and directing the city manager to salvage old railroad tracks owned by the village as personal property not needed for municipal use and use any funds received from said salvage to help pay for the 225 celebration.
