Grand jury hands down indictments
A Highland County grand jury has handed down an aggravated robbery indictment against a Jamestown man.
Ryan L. Funk, 20, was indicted Tuesday on the aggravated robbery charge, a felony of the first degree; one count of theft, a felony of the fifth degree; one count of tampering with evidence, a felony of the third degree, with a forfeiture specification.
Funk was arraigned Wednesday and David Pence was appointed as his attorney. Bond was set at $100,000.
A jury trial was scheduled for April 12.
Cody L. Cowman, 20, was indicted on seven counts of burglary, felonies of the second degree; four counts of theft, felonies of the fifth degree; three counts of grand theft, felonies of the third degree. Lee Koogler was appointed attorney and bond was set at $100,000. A trial was scheduled for April 26.
Also indicted were:
• Jesse M. Binegar, 27, of Bainbridge, on one count of receiving stolen property, a felony of the fourth degree; having weapons under disability, a felony of the third degree. J.D. Wagoner was appointed attorney and bond was set at $15,000. A trial date has been scheduled for April 29.
• Henry S. Fleckinger Jr., on one count of illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a felony of the third degree.
• Stephen L. Waits, on one count of possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree. His arraignment is scheduled for March 17.
