Chillicothe Police Department investigating fatal shooting

On Dec. 12 at approximately 12:05 a.m., the Chillicothe Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a report of gunfire and screaming in the area of East Water Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered three adults were injured as a result of the incident.
Two of the injured individuals were transported to Adena Regional Medical Center for medical attention, while the third person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
