Board of Pharmacy publishes updated medical marijuana patient, caregiver numbers

The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy has published updated patient & caregiver numbers for February 2023.

These numbers include:

• 686,320 recommendations;

• 346,582 registered patients
— 21,028 patients with veteran status
— 22,145 patients with indigent status
— 1,280 patients with a terminal diagnosis;

• 166,643 patients with both an active registration and an active recommendation;

• 322,486 unique patients who purchased medical marijuana (as reported to OARRS by licensed dispensaries); and

• 34,069 registered caregivers.
