SSCC Theatre Company presents “Tiny Beautiful Things,” based on Cheryl Strayed’s bestselling book and adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos, playing one night only, June 21 at 7:30 p.m., in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on Southern State Community College’s Central Campus, 100 Hobart Drive, Hillsboro.

“Tiny Beautiful Things” brings to life the deeply moving and often humorous exchanges between an anonymous advice columnist known as “Sugar” and the readers who turned to her for guidance. Drawing from Strayed’s own experiences, the play explores the raw, unfiltered moments of being human; reaching out when you feel stuck, healing after heartbreak, and facing life’s toughest questions with empathy, honesty, and courage.

The cast includes Paula Campagna, Zanna Eckman, Ian Holmes, Jenna Horick, Madison Stanfield, Justin Stitch, and Matthew Waits.

The production team includes Rainee Angles (director), Rainee Angles and Zanna Eckman (production design), Zanna Eckman (costumes), and Benjamin Gullett (public relations).

Fulfilling other crew positions are Sarah Jo Beyersdoerfer, Fiona Holmes, Johanna Kelley, Amber Lytle, Logan Savage, and Taylor Stanfield.

Tickets for “Tiny Beautiful Things” are now on sale for $5 and can be purchased online at www.sscctheatre.com or at the door. Credit cards are accepted for both online and in-person purchases. This production is recommended for mature audiences only.
