Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA attends 97th Ohio FFA State Convention

Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter 

On May 1-2, the Hillsboro Great Oaks FFA Chapter attended the 97th Ohio FFA State Convention. We started off early on Thursday morning to make it to the 1st Session before heading off to Top Golf. 

Our members enjoyed this fun time to relax and play some fun games of golf before getting back into official dress and heading back to the Ohio Fairgrounds for the 3rd Session. We ended this session and headed back home to get some rest for another early morning. 

On Friday, we made our way back to the Ohio State Fairgrounds for the 4th Session. Our next stop was Anthony-Thomas Chocolates where we toured their facility and saw the chocolate making process. We watched buckeyes being made and we even got some to sample. 

Anthony-Thomas was our last stop before heading back to State Convention where we explored the Expo Center before going back to our seats for the final session. During this session the Ohio FFA State President, Anna Moeller, gave her retiring address and the new officer team was elected. Overall, this was a successful State Convention trip that offered fun opportunities for all of our members.
