Hillsboro FFA member exhibits dairy cattle

This year at the 2026 Highland County Fair Hillsboro FFA was represented in the Dairy Cattle barn by Kenny Shawhan. During the week he exhibited 2 Dairy Beef Feeders and 2 Dairy Breeding Heifers. 

He placed 3rd and 4th in his weight classes with his Dairy Beef. On the Dairy Breeding side, he placed 2nd with his Junior Heifer, and 1st with his Spring Yearling heifer. He also was Champion Senior Dairy Showman and Champion Sweepstakes Dairy Showman. Kenny went on to compete in the Showman of Showmen competition where the winner of each species' showmanship competed against each other by showing every species of animal. This year was a very successful year in the Dairy Barn.
