Free summer 10-day meal program at Bright Local School District

We are excited to announce a special opportunity for all students in the Bright Local School District. This year the school district qualifies for Rural Non-Congregate Meals through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Every child 1-18 years old (and children 19-21 on an IEP) in our district is eligible to receive one box of meals every two weeks. Each box will contain 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches. They will be shipped by UPS right to your door. The boxes have insulated liners to retain the temperature of the boxes along with a disposable thermometer strip. The first delivery is anticipated to start the week of June 1, 2026. There are no income requirements to participate.
