We are proud to share that Bright Local Schools has earned an overall 4-Star Rating on the final 2025–26 Ohio State Report Card.
This accomplishment belongs to our entire Bright Local family – our students, staff, families, Board of Education and community. Most importantly, it reflects the hard work taking place in our classrooms every day and our continued commitment to keeping student growth, achievement, and well-being at the center of every decision we make.
Our final report card includes several areas of excellence:
• Overall Rating – 4 Stars
• Achievement – 4 Stars
• Gap Closing – 4 Stars
• Graduation Rate – 5 Stars
• Early Literacy – 4 Stars
• College, Career, Workforce & Military Readiness – 5 Stars.
These results are something to celebrate, but they also represent something larger. Across Bright Local, we continue to see meaningful progress toward the goals established in our Strategic Plan. From increased academic rigor and new curriculum resources to expanded student opportunities, literacy initiatives, workforce development, improved facilities, and stronger community partnerships, we are building a district focused on preparing every student for what comes next.
There is still important work ahead, and we will continue using our data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Continuous growth means we celebrate our successes while never becoming satisfied with where we are.
To our teachers, administrators, support staff, bus drivers, para professionals, food service employees, custodians, counselors, and every employee who contributes to our students' success thank you.
To our families and community thank you for believing in and supporting Bright Local Schools.
And most importantly, to our students: this achievement is about YOU. Your effort, hard work, and growth are why we do this work.
We should be incredibly proud of where Bright Local is today and even more excited about where we are going.
