3 individuals, women’s XC team earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards for WC; Duncan named Scholar Athlete of the Year
The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their All-Academic Awards for the 2024 season.
The Wilmington College men’s cross-country program had two athletes honored as All-Academic Athletes in Noah Tobin and Gabe Moore. This is the fourth time that Tobin has earned this honor in his career and the first time for Moore. Tobin is a Sport Management major, while Moore majors in Communications.
Faith Duncan was not only named an All-Academic Athlete for the first time at Wilmington, but she was also honored as the Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year. The Quakers women’s team was named an All-Academic Team for the fourth season in a row.
Duncan becomes the first Quaker in program history to be named the USTFCCCA Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year. She has a cumulative grade point average of 3.89 and is a Communications major. The Quakers women's team had a cumulative GPA of 3.51, which is their highest during the season since holding a 3.66 GPA in 2022.
