The Georgetown Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle, fatal traffic crash that occurred May 28 at approximately 5:10 p.m.

Highland County commissioners Terry Britton, David Daniels and Brad Roades heard updates on the county’s permissive sales tax totals, which have topped $4.2 million on the year, and its investments during their Wednesday, May 27 meeting.

Maci Berger won both the District and State competition in the Peace Essay Contest. She was recognized as the District winner at the District Lions Convention in Blue Ash last month. She was then recognized as the State winner at the State Convention on May 16.  

Much of the information and many of the mandates that would be required under the proposed legislation is already required by Ohio state law, Yitz Frank, president of the nonprofit group, School Choice Ohio, told The Center Square. “Ohio already regulates private schools and by extension our nation's leading school choice programs more than any similar state,” he said.
