New book examines costs of siphoning billions in Ohio public funding into private school vouchers

A new book, written by 12 doctoral students in Educational Leadership at Miami University and their professor, Thomas S. Poetter, exposes the issues and problems created by the EdChoice private school voucher system that is draining billions of tax dollars away from public schools and public school children.

GEVS district report card info provided; student recognized for state test performance
The state report cards are in, and Greenfield’s board of education got the information on that at the Sept. 21 board meeting from Dr. Alisa Barrett, the district’s director of instruction. Overall, the district scored 3.5 stars, which is the same as last year.
