For Alex Komala, the second time was the charm. The student in UC Clermont College’s Manufacturing Engineering Technology Program first started his academic journey as a pre-engineering student at the college in 2009, but when he was presented with a full-time job in manufacturing, he jumped at the chance — and found a new path to a degree.
