Hillsboro Elementary held its annual art show on May 6.

A Highland County man has been arrested and charged with felonious assault after an hourslong standoff with local law enforcement in Allensburg Wednesday.

For the third time this season, the Hillsboro Lady Indians defeated their Highland County counterpart, the McClain Tigers, but this time the Lady Indians will be moving on in the 2023 Division II SE District Tournament.

A Hillsboro man was sentenced to a year in prison recently after pleading guilty to having weapons while under disability.
