Cincy Ice 2029 AAU girls basketball team wraps up exceptional season

Cincy Ice 2029, led by Head Coach Tim Carlier of Fayetteville and Assistant Coach Mackenzie Burns of North Adams, recently concluded one of their best seasons with a remarkable 43-3 record. The Ice went undefeated against all Ohio 2029 teams, earning recognition as one of the top Girls 2029 teams in the state.
The team sought out the most challenging competition, participating in tournaments from Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Ind. and Louisville, Ky., to Knoxville, Tenn.
Their accomplishments include several championships:
• GBA National Championship
• Tennessee Miracle National Champs
• GBA Golden Eagle Shoot Out Champs
• GBA Nati Classic Champions
• Lauren Hill Memorial Champs
• Circle City, Indiana Showcase Runners-up
• Buckeye Break Down 2028 Runners-up
• Run for the Roses Classic (Aqua) - Gold Semifinalists.
Many of these titles were won while playing up in the 2028 class tournaments, demonstrating the team's competitive spirit and skill.
This talented group features local players from various counties:
• Brown County: Lindi Carlier (Fayetteville), Bently Burns (Eastern);
• Clinton County: Bristol Brady (Clinton-Massie);
• Highland County: Ella Howard (Whiteoak), Taelyn Shriver (Whiteoak);
• Adams County: Tenzlee Burns (North Adams), Kennedi Campbell (North Adams);
• Hamilton County: Addison Durbin (Walnut Hills); and
• Clermont County: Brynn Ross (Bethel-Tate).
Coach Carlier proudly states, "Overall, this group of young ladies is special, and many of them have been playing together for the past three years. They have built a chemistry that I would put against any team. We hope to continue this journey, and the sky is the limit! We are moving in the right direction and have plans to continue competing at a high level."
