Lady Lions fall to Bethel-Tate
Playing in a non-conference home match Friday night (Oct. 3) the Fairfield Lady Lions lost to Bethel-Tate by a 4-1 score.
The match saw Fairfield’s lone goal scored by junior Vivian Henninger with the assist by Meri Jackson.
FHS totaled 11 shots in the match.
At goal for Fairfield was Jackson with one save.
The Lady Lions are now 8-6-0 overall and 4-1-0 in the SHAC standings.

Lions, Wildcats tie in SHAC match
Friday evening was a battle between two Highland County counterparts, with the 80-minute match finished being a tied score at 3-3 as the host Fairfield Lions tied with the Whiteoak Wildcats.
For Whiteoak, their goals came from two scored by Christopher Wessner and one by Lucas Pollard. Both Wessner and Pollard each had an assist.
Fairfield’s three goals came with two by Quentin McIntosh and one by Blake Walters. Assists were credited to Colton Durose and Easton Zink.
At keeper for the Wildcats was Evan Richmond with seven saves, while Fairfield had Anderson Humphreys with six saves.
FHS now stands at 1-5-1 in the SHAC and 1-10-2 overall, while Whiteoak is 1-6-1 in the SHAC and 5-8-1 overall.

Lynchburg-Clay shut out by North Adams
The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs were shut out on Friday evening as the North Adams Green Devils handed the Mustangs a loss in Southern Hills Athletic Conference competition by a 3-0 score at LCHS.
The Green Devils had goals from Preston Call, Beau Hesler and Tristan Young.
Jayden Reckers of NAHS had two assists. Also for North Adams, Thad Moore totaled five saves.
The Mustangs had Tanner Roberts finish with five saves.
LCHS is now 4-2-0 in the SHAC standings (fourth place) and 9-4-1 overall, while the Green Devils now sit at 7-1-0 in the SHAC (second place) and 14-1-1 overall.

Lady Mustangs tie with Lady Green Devils
Friday saw the Lynchburg-Clay Lady Mustangs hang on to their undefeated (no loss/ties) 100-plus game streak in Southern Hills Athletic Conference play, as they tied with the North Adams Lady Green Devils, 3-3 at LCHS.
Goals for LCHS were scored by Lily Ferguson, Shaylin Mozingo and Caraline West. LCHS also had an assist from Kami Collins.
North Adams’ goals were scored by Hensley Cornette, Jaida Harrison and Peytton Shaver. The assists for North Adams were by Harrison and Shaver.
At goal for NAHS was Bella Gray with four saves, and LCHS keeper Caitlyn Collins totaled six saves.
LCHS is now 3-0-1 in the SHAC standings (second place) and 5-5-2 overall. North Adams moves to 1-4-1 in the SHAC and 7-8-1 overall.

Tigers shut out by Warriors
The McClain Tigers lost a non-conference match to the host Eastern Warriors on Saturday by a 3-0 score at EHS.
Eastern had goals from Jayse Riggs, Cayden Wills and Kayne Dotson. Credited with an assist was Riggs. At goal for the Warriors was Chase Pinkerton with two saves.
MHS is now 3-12 overall.

Lady Tigers gain victory over Eastern
Going on the road Saturday, Oct. 4, the McClain Lady Tigers defeated the host Eastern Lady Warriors by a 3-2 score at EHS.
McClain had two goals from Addison Olaker and one goal by Paisley Pryor.
Eastern goals were scored by Addy Hauke and Gabrielle Lamb, with Makena Corbin having the assist.
