Ohio man pleads guilty to ‘largest healthcare fraud case’

An Ohio man pleaded guilty to his involvement to what the U.S. Department of Justice is calling the largest healthcare fraud case ever prosecuted. Eldar Zarbavel, 45 of Pepper Pike, Ohio, laundered $3.4 million in “illicit healthcare fraud” proceeds through multiple regional banks, the Justice Department said in a news release.
