Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

Aug. 11
 
A resident of the 11000 block of Cathy Court reported the theft of several items.

A deputy responded to the 4900 block of Strain Road after a report of a domestic disturbance. After investigation, it was determined to have been a verbal dispute, no charges issued.

A deputy responded to the 6400 block of McVey Road after a report of an assault. This incident remains under investigation.

Aug. 12

A deputy responded to the 4400 block of Panhandle Road after a report of animals at large.

A resident of the 11000 block of Dundee Drive reported a disturbance. After investigation, Bobby Moore, 28, of McArthur was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

Canton J. Evans, 18, of Hillsboro, assured clear distance.

Scott D. Dawson, 47, of Washington C.H., failure to appear.

Thomas J. Cordes, 39, of Pleasant Plain, failure to appear
